Hillary Williams began training at Westside in 2006 without any previous martial arts experience.  She quickly took to the sport and, under the careful eye of coaches Matt and Roli, began entering tournaments. 

Just four years later, Hillary is Westside’s first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, a 6-time gold medalist at the Pan Championships, 4-time gold medalist at the World Championships, an ADCC medalist, and the 4th American in history to win the World Championships in the black belt division. 

Fluent in English and Portuguese, Hillary has experience teaching seminars across the United States and Brazil.  Hillary has visited over 70 gyms throughout the world, and brings her knowledge back to the students of Westside.
